Writing - My cover art = full of win!

I am so happy  to show you the cover art for MAGIC TO THE BONE.  A big shout out and thank you to the artist, Larry Rostant and the designer, Ray Lundgren.

I think they did a fantastic job on this, better than I had hoped for.  I couldn't be happier!!  What do you think?  Is hot, yes?

Does your character have a tattooed arm in the book or is that something the artist added in?

So glad you like it!

Um...let's see, what to say so as not to give too much away...yes, the character has some sort of markings on her arm. And the artist got the rest right too (eye color, hair, even the bridge in the background).

Thank you! The artist really went above and beyond. For me, he captured the *feel* of the character along with her looks and the world. Tough thing to do and I think he nailed it.

I'm getting a Kate Beckinsale vibe. But I can't help but think of Damon's girlfriend from The Departed. The shrink (only with dark hair, obviously).

You're not the first person to ask me who I think she is. There is something familiar about her, but also unsettling. I can't quite place her. Frankly, it's driving me a little crazy(er).

At first I thought she almost had a slightly softer, dark-haired Milla Jovovich kind of feel, but I think you're right: Kate Beckinsale is probably the closest I can think of. I googled The Departed and found Vera Farmiga, and yep, she has that kind of vibe too.
